1.) Does my dog need to be updated on shots?
Yes, for the safety of your pet and staff they need to be up-to-date on their shots. On your first visit please fax it to 883-8718 or bring a copy of their shot records.
2.) How often does my dog need grooming?
The frequency to which your pet needs grooming is depends on several factors. The breed will determine the coat type. But individual tastes determine how short you want your pet's coat maintained. Also,
some pets that play outdoors often need a good cleaning on a
regular basis.
3.) What are your rates?
Please refer to the services page for a ballpark idea. The final price to be determined at the time of your appointment.
4.) Can I stay while my pet is being groomed?
The grooming area is not set up for customers to wait comfortably. In addition, pets are more distracted when their owners are in the room. This makes the grooming process more difficult. So we ask that you please return for your pet when you receive your courtesy call.
5.) Can I drop my pet off in the morning and return at the end of my work day.
Yes, your pet will enjoy a day at the spa. Grooming, a bath, rest time and run time is all included. We ask that you provide enough food for the day.
6.) My pet is sick the day of his/her appointment. What should I do?
Please reschedule your appointment. Dogs feeling under the
weather don't want to be groomed. If your dog is on a dose
of medicine for a period of time and your vet approves of a
grooming appointment then he/she can come in.
7.) Is it okay if my dog is aggressive to other dogs or cats?
Yes, but the groomer has to be notified when you schedule your appointment so that we can take the necessary precautions to secure the safety of all of our canine and feline customers.
8.) Can you help with my dog's itchy dry skin?
Yes! We use medicated shampoos that help with several skin irritations. Whether they suffer from contact dermatitis, hotspots or flea bite dermatitis our products give them relief. We also use soothing conditioners and hot oil treatments - these are especially helpful in the winter time when they air is so dry.
9.) What forms of payment to you accept?
We accept checks, cash or money orders.
10.) Can I buy Gift Certificates for grooming/spa services?
Yes, we offer Gift Certificates. They can be purchased at the salon.
11.) My dog is very shy and nervous, how will this be handled?
We will take extra time to calm your pet's anxieties to
ensure that your pet has a pleasant grooming experience. Over time your pet should remember their time with us and look forward to visiting our spa,
We treat all pets with patience and understanding and will
work hard to ensure a return visit from your pet.
