Pet Groomer

. . . I was born and raised in Rochester, NY.  I made High Point, N.C. my home in 1998. Starting at a very young age I developed a passion for animals.  For most of my childhood I was seeking animals in need or bringing creatures home to mend. This carried through to my adulthood also. I now have several four-legged family members. I am the proud owner of two pugs and two mixed breed canines and also three felines. My childhood dog "Ginger" was my first grooming client. She was very patient when as a child I wanted to paint her nails and give her a makeover. To become a professional groomer had been a dream of mine. I received my training at Nanhall Pet grooming school located in Greensboro, NC from Hayley Keyes. She is a master groomer and a great teacher. I had the opportunity to learn all aspects of grooming. My training included learning the standard for grooming all 7 categories of the AKC recognized breeds and training in grooming mixed breed canines. I also learned the proper techniques in grooming felines as well. I have been educated in areas such as Pet CPR, recognizing diseases of the skin, ears, eyes and mouth. It is an important job as a groomer to know when a pet needs to see a vet for medical attention.  I love being a groomer and I put my passion in your pets experience while they are at the spa. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved four-legged family member.
